The Chamber organizes quite an active social calendar where fun and networking is the key.
We had our biannual Golf Day at Brickhampton Court in July 2008. This event was well attended as always and even those who did not play golf came along to the evening meal and relaxed with great company.
The Annual Banquet & Ball took place on Saturday, 18th October 2008 at the Kingsholm Rugby Ground. It was a huge success, with all profits going to the President’s charity, Gloucester Air Ambulance. 80 people attended
The dates for the 2009 Banquet and Ball have been confirmed as 16th October and we are using the same great venue again.
The Christmas Formal is held every year in the Parliament rooms at the Cathedral. Once again in 2008 the atmosphere was good, the food excellent and the Choristers from the Cathedral who come each year to entertain us were, as always, perfect to finish off the evening. We always hold a raffle for the Presidents Charity and this year we raised over £500. The 2009 Meal is on 11th December
