The Chamber organizes quite an active social calendar where fun and networking is the key.
In June we invite all our members to the Medieval Fayre Banquet.
We have our biannual Golf Day at Brickhampton Court in July 2008. This event is always well attended and even if you don’t play golf you can come along to the evening meal and relax with great company.
The Annual Banquet & Ball took place on Saturday, 13th October 2007 at the Chase Hotel Shurdington. It was a huge success, with all profits going to the President’s charity, the Nigel Hunter Nursery. 80 people attended
The dates for the 2008 Banquet and Ball have not been confirmed yet but will be either Saturday the 4th or 11th October. The venue will be Gloucester Rugby Club. A live band will be on hand to keep every one on their feet until midnight
The Christmas Formal is held every year in the Parliament rooms at the Cathedral. Once again in 2007 the atmosphere was good, the food excellent and the Choristers from the Cathedral who come each year to entertain us were, as always, perfect to finish off the evening. We always hold a raffle for the Presidents Charity and this year we raised over £400.
